HOW IT ALL STARTED

Dien Chan was developed in the 1980s by Professor Bùi Quôc Châu in Saigon, Vietnam. His goal was to create a simple, effective, and non-invasive technique accessible to everyone. Drawing on his expertise in Eastern medicine as an acupuncturist, along with his deep understanding of Western medicine, Professor Châu formulated a hypothesis that specific parts of the body, both internal and external, as well as complex systems (cardiovascular, respiratory, endocrine, etc.), are mirrored on the face through precise diagrams and a map of reflex points. By gently stimulating these established facial maps, Dien Chan interacts with the nervous system and directs the energy to where it is needed the most. Professor Châu’s dedication to harmonizing yin and yang inspired the creation of delicate multi-reflex tools, making Dien Chan the first holistic technique of its kind to offer both Yin and Yang tools to restore balance, relieve pain, and promote the body's natural healing processes.
